Opeyemi Sodiq Adeoye, also known as deoyerex, makes all kind of wears and accessories.
“I trained myself intellectually to improve on my fashion skills. I’m currently in my final year studying Industrial Design – specifying on textiles. I had the opportunity to expand on my knowledge of fashion illustration and execution in school. Presently, I am the co-founder of B360ACE, a fashion company in Ibadan.”
Speaking about his source of inspiration, he says, “I get inspiration from my mother who is also a fashion designer. I noticed I’m quick to learning anything practical or design oriented. I also draw inspiration from God.”
A venture that increased his belief in himself was when he worked on some traditional outfits and accessories made from Adire; including bags, shoes, sandals among others.
Now, he is looking forward to having a more profound exposure in the bigger world, have opportunities to meet with top designer to draw more inspiration from them and have more capital support to level up his yield point.
Concerning youth empowerment, he says, “Firstly, the youths need to understand that success is the reward for persistence and that positivity is only enhanced by the act of loyalty, truthfulness and being submissive. Youths can only be empowered when we stop being selfish and start thinking collectively.”
