meet Micheal the realistic pen artist - the spark youth empowerment platform in nigeria

Micheal Olajide, also known as Molar, is a Realistic Pen Artist. He discovered his talent and started when he was younger.

“When I was younger, I played with pen, pencil, charcoal, chalk, moist sand and all sort of things that could write. I made irregular lines, colours on wall, paper and get beaten for it. Then as I grew older, I saw creativity in what is usually called irregularities (called “jagajaga” in local dialect). Then I started with this art movement, titled HYPERJAGAISM, using irregular lines to get artistic and realistic figures.”

“Mostly, my mind is the backbone of my art; I draw what is within me.”

Micheal found confidence in his last work, titled “god Of Water and Sweat”.  “The worked really baffled me when I exhibited in Osun state at Joseph Ayo Babalola University; it got the best for the exhibition.”

Now,” I am seeking for the world to know my art.”

Speaking about youth empowerment, he believes Nigerian youth can be empowered when the citizens and government alike encourage what they do.
