Ayeola Ayodeji Abiodun, also known as Awizzy, is Visual Artist, specialised in painting, a little of sculpting and drawing. “I also design website and graphics.”
When he was asked how he started, he says, “I started at the early age of 6, drawing and making attempt to paint. My first commissioned job was by my neighbour then, now I have done hundreds of commissioned portraits. Few of the prominent people I have painted are Adams Oshiomhole, Femi Otedola, Aliko Dangote and Basket mouth among others.”
According to Ayeola, the challenge he is facing presently is how to break into the art scene and exhibit with prominent names in the industry.
A family painting of Mr. Femi Otedola that he did during an interview session with Spice TV and the MTN painting project he did in 2008 are two projects that increased his confidence in his craft; http://awizzy.net/mtn-painting-project-by-artist-ayeola-ayodeji-abiodun/
On what inspires him, the visual artist says, “I draw inspiration from seeing the works of other artists because it inspires me to paint. For portrait painting, money inspires me to get the job done on time so as to meet up with the date the client wants the painting.”
