“As a child, I have always been enthusiastic about art, I would draw at any given opportunity, on walls, sand and even on my note books and when I was in secondary school (Shalom Academy Nsukka) and I was given an award for the most creative Visual Art student.”
“I presently believe that for me, painting is not just a talent but a calling which makes me committed to giving it my best. My paintings focus on being a voice for those who are less privileged in the society and issues that people have given little or no attention to, ranging from political to societal issues. I am presently working on a series I titled ‘Zebra Problem ‘ which addresses the prevalence of child sexual abuse which has been a pathetic issue in this present time.”
“My paintings are mostly done in oil on canvas. I consider my style to be ‘Realism’ and my works have been collected by some renowned art galleries in Lagos such as, Mydream gallery, Artyrama online gallery and Henrimowetta gallery. I have also participated in several workshops and national art exhibitions, “Life in my city” and the just concluded ‘Afriuture’ painting competition which I emerged as the second runner-up. ”
God and all His creations inspire him. “I believe that no one can receive except he is given from above. Then I will also say my personal experiences, music, movies, jokes and happenings around me.”
