Oluwadamilare Ibrahim Madoti, also known as Emperor The Ultimate, is an artist who also likes sports, especially football.
The Civil engineering graduate from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta started doing simple drawings way back in primary school, drawing things he saw in pictures, books, etc.
“It continued during my secondary school days but was more of comic drawings. The main realistic drawing actually started in my final year when I saw course mates like Akolo and Oyesomi doing realistic drawings with pen and pencil respectively. It was that moment passion for art was birthed in me.”
“Over the months, I’ve continued to develop and improve to do more realistic drawings. I’ve also tried a few other media too like pen, pastels and charcoals.”
“Art is a personal gift that changes the recipient and it is very broad and conveys different meaning and messages. It is a way of expressing myself. The medium doesn’t matter, the intent does. My art is completely internally driven. It focuses more on emotions and passion and tries as much s possible to liberate people from depression.”
His art is being inspired by people and the acknowledgement he gets from them. “The people around me have enormous impact on my being, how I think, act, and experience the world around me. Also, when someone appreciates my arts, it motivates me a lot. It shows that my art is important and contributes to something meaningful.”
