Franklin Jnr oladunjoye Faranmaye, also known as Teflon, describes himself as a lover of God, lover of arts and music, lover of people and a lover of good food.
Franklin is a self taught pencil artist. “I never had any formal training on art whatsoever.”
“I started drawing at an early age probably age 4/5 … But I took it a bit more seriously in 2016, and ever since I’ve been working on growth and steady improvement. As regards where I am with my art at the moment, currently I’m still a work in progress.”
“As we all know perfection is an illusion as no man can actually achieve that feat. Regardless of this, I’m still striving to push my art into its next phase, and at the same time understanding how the art market works and the kind of audience that appreciates the genre of art I’m into.”
“I work in the genre of realism art. Basically my art portrays human interaction with life, and human expressions. Since art is a generally understood language, I tend to use my art to connect deeply with human expressions, by giving meaning to the character, personality, mood, thoughts and emotions expressed by my muse.”
“My art is majorly inspired by my ability to produce and create art that people can relate to, to prompt and arouse deeply buried emotions, making people feel inspired and encouraged, regardless of their background, race or colour.”
