Olawale Moses Adesiyan, also known as AOMoses, is a Nigeria virtual artist who love all form of art but majorly draw in black and white, with graphite and charcoal pencils.
He had a lot to say when he was asked about how he started his art. “My passion for the art started at a very early age. Like many artists in our world today. I could remember (@ age 6-8) when I always take a pencil and my notebook to a man to draw for me. I always enjoy watching him draw animation and figure drawing.”
“I was fascinated by the fact that he could combine lines to form something interesting. So I had that love, but it wasn’t until I was 14 that I knew I could draw. That was because my friends and teacher always admire my drawing and I do “drawing assignment” for my classmates at the rate of 20-50 naira.”
“After my secondary school, a friend of mine said “how I wish, I’ve discovered my talent like you” after making a drawing for him. This was a statement I could not stop thinking about, so I decided to take art as a career. It was a good decision to me because I have always loved art.”
“After my National Diploma (ND) program at the Polytechnic Ibadan, I decided to create awareness to my art and so took my online presence serious. For now, I’m in the stage of Photo-Realism. I really hope someday I will be called hyper-realism artist, because my best is yet to come.”
“I found out this great joy people have seeing their picture been recreated in art. So I draw faces with different emotions, (Emotional Realism). I’m still working on my style of art because “style” has a lot to say in art and I hope it’s going to be a mind blowing one. Very soon I’ll be starting a drawing series tagged, “Celebrities”, whereby I will be drawing some famous faces in our world (both past and present) that can be easily recognised.”
The desire to be extraordinary inspires Moses. “I don’t want to be a regular guy. I just want to be more. This keeps me going, and some incredibly artist in our world today inspires me a lot, artist like Arinze Stanline and Kelvin Okafor but the supreme inspiration comes from God Almighty.”
