Solomon Chukwuemeka Okeuhie is a Hyperrealistic artist, who was born on the 15th of July, 1996.
A graduate of Federal University of Technology, Owerri with a degree in Polymer and Textile Engineering, he is entirely self-taught, his art career started fully in the University after embracing art at a very tender age out of sheer passion.
Solomon realised his intense passion for hyperrealism in 2014 but decided to be unorthodox with his works by fusing a blend of mixed media to his realistic references. He uses conventional materials and methods as metaphors and visceral symbolism as a conduit for his personal and universal narratives.
Identity, gender-based violence and societal issues are a few aspect of his current artistic practice. His works have a strong formal presence and character, but at the same time, they are rich in embedded narratives.
