Malik Salawu Olanrewaju, also known as Rapkiddah, is a Musician and a Blogger.
When he was asked about how he started, he says passion is what pushed and motivated him.
Rapkiddah is influenced and inspired by his environment, events around him, his father and God.
Doing a song with Yung Willis, a certain producer was a venture that increased his belief in himself. “I did a song with Yung Willis in 2016, the same man that produced Sweet Boy for Falz. This song got me Oscar student award nomination in 2016 and Grand Eminent Award in 2017.”
And now, he is seeking a brand that would offer to promote his art and crafts.
He also lent his voice to the concept of youth empowerment. “It’s the way forward with the present rate of unemployment in Nigeria. I actually wrote an empowerment proposal on CCTV training for secondary school students in Abuja but sadly this proposal didn’t see the light of the day. Imagine what change that would inspire in the lives of the students if it had come to fruition. Those are the kinds of challenges youths in Nigeria face.”
