Meet Olumide – The Brand Support Consultant

Olumide Temitope Adeboye, also known as Midex, provides Brand Support Service.

Talking about how he started, he says, “I am a Computer Science graduate and had brief stint with teaching at the University of Agriculture Abeokuta now Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta as a Computer Demonstrator and later to Delta College of Computer and Basic Studies as a lecturer and thereafter the pioneer civilian Lecturer/Resource Person at the Police College of Information Technology, Abeokuta. Knowing that I have a flair for creativity made me start my private business in the clothing line and with time and quest to excel; I ventured into full digital print solution which got me where I am today.”

Midex’s greatest challenge so far is the government. “Our government have not done enough to grow SMEs in the country. We are faced with power outage and can’t even get banks to support vibrant business ideas of the Nigerian Youth.”

He draws inspiration from his will to succeed and be the best at what he does.

When he was asked about the project he has done that increased his confidence in himself and made him believe in himself, he says, “As a lecturer I was influenced by the people I trained especially at the Police College.”

Now, Olumide has quite a number of opportunities that he is looking forward to. He mentioned finances as one. “I strongly believe we can be greater than China, we have the manpower and brains to make Nigeria great if things are just put in place.”

He gave his opinion on youth empowerment as well. He believes Youth Empowerment would further increase the IGR of this great nation and it would create more jobs and allow for employment generation amongst the youths.
