Portuguese born manager Jose Mourinho, has faced fresh allegations of tax fraud from the Spanish authorites. The Manchester United gaffer who managed Real Madrid between 2010 – 2013 is accused of owing £2.9m according to a statement.
A case of two counts of tax fraud in 2011 and 2012 has been filed according to a Madrid prosecutor on Tuesday.
These allegations come days after it was also disclosed that Spanish authorities had accused Cristiano Ronaldo of tax related fraud, prompting the player to register discontent at the way he was being branded.
Mourinho has had spells at the helm in clubs like FC Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and now currently is on holidays after guiding the Red Devils to the Europa League Trophy earlier this month, earning an automatic ticket back to the Champions League.
