“There is no impossibility in this life”…Samuel Adiaga

For all our celebrity rookies, taking part in a contest is rewarding, winning the award leaves you with a special feeling. Still in doubt? find out why Samuel Adiaga, Rookie for December thinks “there is no impossibility in this life” in this special interview with Paul Osas.

PO: Congratulations Samuel, glad to have you on ‘Celebrity Rookie Interview’.  To help whet the appetite of our valued readers, who is Samuel Adiaga?

Samuel: Thanks! Samuel Adiaga is a graduate of accounting from Osun State University. I am from Delta State, born to a family of six. I attended Federal Government College Odogbolu for my secondary education. I love singing, dancing and watching movies. My turn offs are lies, dishonesty and pride.

PO: Did you ever imagine you would be the winner of a paid internship with Super Geeks and how does it feel to have won?

Samuel: From the first day I decided to take part in the competition, I just knew I was going to win; I pictured myself being the winner. It feels so good wining and it’s a foundation for more success to come.

PO: With your background in Accounting, why did you choose to take part in a contest that offers tech-related internship?

Samuel: Well, I just wanted a job; I was bored staying at home waiting for my youth service in May so when I heard about the competition I saw it as a platform to get a job not minding its nature, i also saw it as an opportunity to get experience and learn something different from accounting.

PO: How were you able to convince your friends to vote for you, considering they might have also been interested in the contest?

Samuel: Hmmm, it was not easy I had to call, chat, send links on different social media platforms, I even had to do one- on- one meeting with those in my vicinity to get likes. I had to push them to do it reminding them daily, you know it’s not that easy to get a like but am still grateful to those that gave me their likes.

PO: Should the world be expecting a ‘Super Geek Samuel’ soon?

Samuel: Yes, it should and it’s going to happen very soon!

PO: Who will Samuel be in the next 5 years?

Samuel: By God’s grace a chartered accountant with a managerial capacity.

PO: Has “The Spark” kept its promise to “ignite” something in you? If it did, what would that be?

Samuel: Yes! Spark has made me believe in myself which is the basic foundation to becoming a success.

PO: “We believe in you, now believe in yourself”. Say something in one sentence to “Spark” up other growing Nigerian youth

Samuel: There is no impossibility in this life, you only need to believe in yourself and give it your very best!
