Super Eagles and Watford striker, Odion Igalo has been named as Barclays Player of the Month for December. His manager, Quique Sánchez Flores was also awarded with the Barclays Manager of the Month award.
The duo have been rewarded for Watford’s impressive form in December which saw The Hornets pick up 10 points in five December games where they beat Norwich, Sunderland and Liverpool before drawing at Chelsea and losing to Spurs.
The Nigerian forward scored five goals during the month, including two in the emphatic 3-0 win over Liverpool.
Ighalo is one of the highest goal scorers in the league this season with his 13 goals. Only Romelu Lukaku and Jamie Vardy have scored more.
