Fayose wants to sabotage development in Nigeria- APC

Fayose Criticizes Buhari’s Sudden 5–Day Vacation

The governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has criticized the presidency over the statement issued on the sudden vacation of President Mohammadu Buhari, calling the statement vague.

“Nigerians deserve to know the truth about their President because the President is an open book that every Nigerians should be free to read,” said Fayose.

Fayose spoke further: “Nigerians deserve to know where exactly their president is spending his vacation,” in a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka.

He however commended the President for handing over to the Vice President as stipulated by the Constitution of the country.

He said; “We were told last Tuesday, that Mr President was travelling to France and from there to London to attend the Syria Donor Conference, and that he would return to Nigeria this weekend.

“All of a sudden, we were told that the President was embarking on a five-day vacation. Where and why? We were not told.

“Curiously, it was at this same period, last year that President Buhari, who was at that time the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, disappeared from public, with lies told about him granting interviews in London.

“It is therefore important that in future, the presidency should be more explicit in communicating with Nigerians on issues regarding the President because a nation’s president is an open book that can be read by anyone.”

Do we call this politics whereby a president of a whole nation doesn’t let the citizenry know where and how about its vacation and all of a sudden we are hearing from France,London,Syria to a vacation without reporting back to the people the true state or the outcome of their represention. This is disappointing. Whoever that want to challenge or accuse Gov.Fayose on this,is an enemy of this dear Nation.
