Actress, Fathia Balogun Receives Chieftancy Title

Nigerian actress, film-maker, producer and director, Fathia Balogun received an islamic chieftancy title – ‘Atesin’se Adinni’, on Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Ijebu, Ogun state. Her fellow film stars, Dayo Amusa, Kemi Afolabi, Mojisola Olaiya, Kehinde Rhoda and Tayo Odueke, who were all dressed in white, were there in grand style to celebrate with her.

 

Though born into a Christian home, Fathia Balogun converted to Islam after marrying her fellow actor Saidi Balogun. Fathia was a Christian of the Cherubim and Seraphim faith.

The Delta-born actress, who observed the Hajj pilgrimage last year, has since adopted a Muslim name; Anotallahi.
