PREMIER LEAGUE: KANE RUNS RIOT AGAINST LEICESTER




 KANE LEADS GOLDEN BOOT RACE

Harry Kane hit Leicester City for four goals. Starting the game two goals behind Lukaku, he turned it into a two goal advantage. He is now favourites to win the golden boot, his second consecutive.

FIRST HALF

Hugo Lloris stopped Vardy from opening the scoring after just 10 minutes. Son had a chance soon after which he spurned much to the anger of his teammates.

Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 25th after a cutback by Son. Eleven minutes later after a superb chipped pass by Alli, Son was able volley into goal.

SECOND HALF

Leicester came out with purpose. Vardy soon had an attempt which wasn’t properly cleared by Lloris, chance fell to Chilwell who finished with great composure. With the lead halved, a comeback was on the cards.

Four minutes later however, Sissoko set Kane up for his second. In the 71st minute, Son killed all hopes of a comeback with his second. Some of the home support began to take their leave, they had seen enough.




Kane grabbed his hat trick in the 89th, and nabbed his fourth soon after. Finals score 6-1 to Tottenham.
