“I have loved art right from my tender age because as a kid, I was always fascinated with colours on paintings and cartoons. Cartoons like Pocahontas, Aladdin, fling stones, captain planet, X-men, Spiderman, Batman and some dope ones in the 90s and early 2000s influence my art majorly as an illustrator.”
“I was never a graphics student in university, I specialized in painting. My dexterity in painting on canvas shows more in my digital art. After graduating from the University, being a painter and illustrator, I felt one could carve a niche for oneself.”
“I got introduced to digital painting of caricature by Jason Seiler, a caricaturist, and painter from the United States. A renowned caricaturist for Times magazine covers and other press media in the United States. His works inspired me to start painting caricatures.”
“I was actually a cartoonist for Association Of Campus Journalist (ACJ) in my university days. Jossy Ajiboye is another major influence on my art. He is a renowned cartoonist and painter in Nigeria.”
‘Music is my biggest inspiration; I coined a quote which says. “Good music inspires good art”. I don’t know if someone else has said that before. I listen to all kinds of music, so far it sounds good and the message could spark up my creative initiative.”
“The messages behind my art preach hope, happiness, motivation, and self-confidence. If Abraham Lincoln failed several times and later became the president of United States in I860, that means you shouldn’t quit on your dreams and aspirations.”
“Tupac stated in his lyrics me against the world that “I know it seems hard sometimes but remember one thing, through every dark night, there’s a bright day after that. So no matter how hard it gets, stick your chest out, keep ya head up and handle it.”
“I painted his caricatures and portrait several times just to pass his messages. I believe being an artist guarantee you a special space in the entertainment world, my art is moving globally and I got so much preference from people in Nigeria, United States and around the world.”
