Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham’s is edging closer to a season-long loan move to Swansea. It is understood that the deal will be concluded before the start of preseason.
The player had earlier worked with Swansea manager Paul Clement at Chelsea while the latter was among the backroom staff of then manager Carlo Ancelotti
The England under-21 striker who’s currently out with the National team at the European Championship has been the subject of interest from many clubs in the Premier League and also from the Championship.
The 19-year-old was a sensational hit last season on loan at Championship side Bristol City where he scored 26 goals in over 40 appearances.
Abraham joined Chelsea at the academy U8 level and progressed through the ranks, coinciding with Clement’s time at the Club as youth team coach and at one time, assistant to Manager Carlo Ancelotti.
