Samuel Ojochegbe Mamudu, also known as Samjunyart is a Ballpen Photo-realistic Artist.
The 400l student of Architecture at Federal University of Technology, Akure says about how he started, “I started drawing and working on my art in 2016 even though I have been drawing at a very young age. I have been working to improve my portfolio since then and have been to 3 different exhibitions; Artflames, Ffaw and Artskid. My works have been featured on channels TV four (4) times which I am very grateful for. I do commissions for people and I have personal works that I do as well where I speak through my art and they are also for sale. I hope to own my own gallery and organize exhibitions in the future helping and teaching younger artists the techniques to improve their art.”
Samuel is inspired by Nigeria; “the struggles, high hopes and expectations of Nigerians. I like bringing to light societal issues that have been neglected and things that happen around me. I also desire to create beauty and be a voice for those that can’t speak as well as other artists.”
