Nigerian Chef wins first ever Jollof rice contest to retain No. 1 spot in Africa


Nigerian Jollof rice has been confirmed as the best Jollof in Africa after a Nigerian chef won the first ever Jollof rice competition held in Washington DC.

Chef Atinuke Ogunsalu produced the best food to beat competition from other West African countries like Cameroon, Ghana and Sierra Leone.

She won a thousand dollars worth of support services from the organizer of the event after all 600 spectators agreed that Nigerian Jollof is the very best.

The ‘Jollof Hackathon’ was organised solely to lay all doubts to rest, as regards which country had the best Jollof in West Africa.
